I’m heading to the International Thriller Festival at the end of this coming week! Cannot wait!

I’ll be on a panel at 4:30 p.m., Friday, July 12, on the topic of dialogue. Our moderator is the great A.F. Brady (“The Blind,” “Once a Liar”), and joining us will be novelists Dave Bell, Susan Alice Bickford, Patricia Gussin, Dennis Hetzel and Francine Ward. This should be a blast!

The whole thing takes place at the Grand Hyatt in midtown Manhattan, where we stage-up every year. This year’s honorees include John Sandford, 2019 Thriller Master; Harlan Corben, Silver Bullet recipient; Margaret Marbury, Thriller Legend; James Rollins, the 2018 Silver Bullet winner; and Lisa Unger and Stephan Hunter, the 2019 Spotlight Guests. Kimberley Howe (“The Freedom Broker,” “Skyjack”) is this year’s executive director.

This is one of the best events each year in the mystery and thriller field. Cannot wait!
