Robert Dugoni wins Spotted Owl award
Big congrats to Robert Dugoni for winning the Spotted Owl Award from Friends of Mysteries for his international espionage thriller, “The Eighth Sister.”
Every year, the Friends pick a best mystery novel written by someone in the Pacific Northwest. I’m honored to have won one, and to have been on this year’s list of contenders.
If you want to know more about Friends of Mystery, the next monthly meeting is 7 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at TaborSpace, 5441 S.E. Belmont St., Portland. This month’s guest speaker: Gonzaga Professor Robert Donnelly, author of “Dark Rose: Organized Crime and Corruption in Portland.”
