Look what the wind blew in: A new book!
Very excited that novelist and podcaster Debbi Mack has interviewed me for her video blog, “Crime Café!”
Debbi is the author of the he Sam McRae series, including “Identity Crisis,” “Least Wanted,” “Riptide” and “Deep Six.” If you’re a fan of Kinsey Millhone and V.I. Warshawski, give Sam McRae a read.
This is the first podcast I’ve done in months, thanks to the damned pandemic. It’s to promote the new book, “Sirocco,” which hits the stands in January! I can’t wait. It’s the sequel to “St. Nicholas Salvage & Wrecking,” and reintroduces the bounty-hunting partners Michael Finnigan and Katalin Fiero Dahar. I had so much fun with these protagonists in the first book, taking them to Cyprus, France and the former Yugoslavia. A lot of this new book takes place in Spain and North Africa — where, not for nothing, but I got to make up a fictional city in a fictional country. This gig’s a blast.
Check out Debbi’s website, and take a listen to the podcast. It was way too much fun to do.
And look for “Sirocco,” coming to bookstores next month!
