Best-selling author Jeffery Deaver, creator of the Lincoln Rhyme series, will be in Beaverton at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, speaking at Powell’s at Cedar Hills Crossing. I know because I’m the editor of the Beaverton Valley Times and I just put the event our arts calendar. After that, Deaver heads to The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Monday, May 13. And I’ll be speaking at The Poisoned Pen on Thursday, May 9.

Deaver is promoting “The Never Game,” which introduces a new protagonist, Colter Shaw. I’ve read it and it’s great. I’m a huge fan of Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs. This is in that same stellar category.
